Ahead of their Europa League quarter-final clash against Sevilla, Manchester United have been hit with another injury setback.
Manchester United’s Europa League quarter-final against Sevilla is looming large, but the Red Devils have been dealt yet another injury blow ahead of the crucial tie.
Scott McTominay, who has been in sensational goal-scoring form in recent weeks, has been ruled out of the first leg clash due to injury.
The Scottish midfielder had been in fine fettle, scoring four goals in two games for his country in their European Championship qualifying victories over Cyprus and Spain, before netting the opener in United’s 2-0 win over Everton over the weekend.
However, reports suggest that McTominay was absent from United’s training session on Wednesday afternoon and is set to miss Thursday’s game against the Spanish side. It’s another setback for Erik Ten Haag , who has had to contend with a host of injury woes throughout the season.
