Manchester United are reportedly thinking about signing a midfielder after Christian Eriksen left the game against Reading on crutches.

Man United are short of quality options in the midfield following the injury of Eriksen on Saturday and there are reports claiming United could sign a midfielder before the end of the transfer window.

With the market set to shutdown on Monday 11:59 PM, MEN have reported that the Red Devils could try to sign Youri Tielemans from Leicester City as a replacement for Christian Eriksen.

The Dane midfielder left Old Trafford on crutches following a nasty tackle he suffered from Andy Carroll in the second half during the Reading game.

However, nothing has advanced between Manchester United and Leicester City for Youri Tielemans but United could be forced to drop their search for a forward and prioritise a midfielder is Eriksen could be out for months.

The length of Eriksen’s injury hasn’t been announced yet and like Erik ten Hag, many fans would hope the Denmark international’s injury isn’t too serious.
