The club board have already secured new terms with the defender Luke Shaw and the young starlet Alejandro Garnacho. According to Manchester Evening News, they are currently in talks with David de Gea, Marcus Rashford, and Diogo Dalot regarding their contract renewals.

The sources within the club claim negotiations for a new contract with Marcus Rashford may take longer, while United are hoping to secure a new contract for David de Gea before his current contract expires on June 30th.

De Gea is currently the highest-paid goalkeeper in the world. As he approaches the end of his 12th season at United, the club intends to negotiate a reduction in his salary.
