Joao Cancelo is expected to leave Manchester City this summer, and the club have reportedly set a price tag of €40m for the full-back.
According to SPORT, Cancelo has fallen out of favor with Pep Guardiola due to his arrogant behavior, which led to his loan move to Bayern Munich for the second half of the season.
Following the conclusion of his loan spell in Germany, Cancelo’s future at Etihad is uncertain as the club have no intention of welcoming him back.
Barcelona and Arsenal have shown interest in the 29-year-old, but the Catalan giant’s financial difficulties may make it challenging for them to meet City’s asking price. A loan move is more likely if the transfer happens.
Meanwhile, Arsenal’s interest in Cancelo could not be realistic as well, since Manchester City could be reluctant to sell their player to a rival club, especially after the transfers of Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus to London last summer.
