Manchester City trio have returned to from World Cup just on time for their EFL Cup round of 16 clash with Liverpool on Thursday
City will face the Reds in the Carabao Cup round of 16 on Thursday, December 22.
Ahead of the game, Pep Guardiola’s side have welcomed Nathan Ake, Manuel Akanji and Rodri back from the World Cup. The trio are expected to be in contention for the game against the Reds, as per LiverpoolECHO.
Ake, Akanji and Rodri join Kevin de Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan, who have also returned from World Cup, meanwhile, City’s five England representatives have yet to make their return.
