The 20-year-old Argentine has made 46 appearances for the senior team, scoring five goals and grabbing three assists. A world-class performance has prompted Manchester City to compete with Real Madrid for the signing of youngster Exequiel Zeballos.

Zeballos, a Boca Juniors player, has already made history by becoming the club’s youngest player ever to sign a professional contract. He is regarded as an exceptional talent for his age and a dead-ball specialist. This is enough for both City and Real Madrid to put their hats in the ring to sign him.

Meanwhile, Another reliable Source has also linked City with a move for Renato Huerta, a young player out of Universidad de Chile. It is assumed that this “new diamond” who is said to have surprised his coach Mauricio Pellegrino has caught the Blues’ attention as well.

Huerta only joined the team this month, but the 18-year-old right winger has caught City’s attention thanks to his displays in exhibition games. The young player is anticipated to fetch €2 million should Pep Guardiola want to sign him.

According to the report, if they bid and it is successful, their plan will be to loan Huerta to City’s Italian affiliate club Palermo. Huerta is already said to have an European passport as a result of his Spanish ancestry.

City are said to be keeping a close eye on the South American market since after the signing of Julian Alvarez in the hope of finding another hidden gem. Zeballos’s contract is set to expire in December 2026 and Huerta has a minimal release clause, so city are seriously considering the possibility of signing both players.
