The young center-back has been turning heads across Europe with his impressive performances during his breakthrough campaign.

Yoro’s standout displays have sparked speculation about a potential high-value transfer either this month or in the upcoming summer window. Among the suitors closely monitoring the situation, Manchester City stands out as a prominent contender for the talented teenager.

However, reports from French outlet Le 10 Sport suggest that Lille is not inclined to part ways with Yoro and is setting a substantial asking price for clubs inquiring about the defender. According to the report, Manchester City’s manager, Pep Guardiola, and his team have already initiated talks with Yoro regarding a potential move to the Premier League champions.

Interestingly, Manchester City faces competition from their arch-rivals, Manchester United, in the race to secure Yoro’s signature. Lille has reportedly quoted a hefty price of €90 million (£78 million) for the young talent, adding an additional layer of complexity to the transfer negotiations. Notably, other top clubs such as Liverpool and PSG are also closely monitoring the situation.

As Guardiola seeks to reinforce his squad after a successful treble-winning season, Manchester City is expected to be active in the upcoming transfer market. The objective is to maintain competitiveness in the Premier League title race, where Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool currently leads with 45 points from 20 matches this season.
