Manchester City and PSG have bid for Luka Vuskovic, with Newcastle, Tottenham, Manchester United, and Chelsea also interested.
Several top English and European football clubs have reportedly entered the race to sign promising young defender Luka Vuskovic from Croatian side Hajduk Split.
According to reports , Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain have already made bids for the 19-year-old, with City offering a package worth up to €12million (£10.5million). However, Hajduk Split are said to be holding out for €15million (£13million).
Joining City and PSG in the race for Vuskovic’s signature are Chelsea, Manchester United, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur. The young defender is expected to be sold during the upcoming summer transfer window, despite having a contract with Hajduk Split that runs until 2026.
Vuskovic has reportedly expressed a desire to return to Hajduk on loan for the next season, which may be a factor in negotiations between the player’s representatives and interested clubs.
It remains to be seen which club will ultimately secure the services of the highly-rated youngster, but the level of interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs indicates that Vuskovic is a talent to watch in the coming years.
