Liverpool have received a transfer blow in their pursuit of midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.
The Morocco international caught the eye of a number of the top sides following his impressive playing spell with his national team at the World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
The Reds have been among the clubs interested in the player’s services, however, now they could be left out of the race due to the player’s preferences.
According to Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, Amrabat could be on his way to Atletico Madrid as he would love to join the La Liga side in case of leaving Florentina.
