Liverpool have received a double injury blow ahead of their Champions League game against Rangers.

The Reds are set to face Steven Gerrard’s side in the group stage of the European top tier on Wednesday.

Ahead of the game, James Pearce has provided an injury update on the club players. The Athletic journalist claims that Joel Matip and Trent Alexander-Arnold will now be out of action for two weeks.

Meanwhile, Andy Robertson is back at training after a one-month absence. Jurgen Klopp will now decide whether to play him against Rangers or not.
