Liverpool have closely watched Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo since the last summer of the previous season.
Moises Caicedo who have been a key part of Brighton’s squad since last season and have continued to play a crucial role in the middle of the pack for the seagulls.
It’s no news that Liverpool are in massive hunt of one or two midfielders as their performance proves to be poor because they lack in that department and Caicedo have been one of the stars who have been linked with a move to Anfield.
Liverpool’s interest in Moises Caicedo has not come out of the blue, with the midfielder having been on the club’s radar since his time at Independiente del Valle.
Liverpool didn’t make their move due to complications regarding the situation of his agents, while there were also lots of costs outside of the transfer.

Brighton have not changed their stance regarding Moises Caicedo and do not intend to sell the player in January.
Talksport had already said Caicedo is under contract at the Amex Stadium until the summer of 2025 and only a huge offer would tempt Brighton to reconsider their stance on the player.
