Liverpool are interested in Yunus Musah as Jurgen Klopp looks for midfield options in the transfer window, while Arsenal and Chelsea are also interested.

Yunus Musah is a target for Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, according to Fichajes. Jurgen Klopp has turned his attention to midfield alternatives after ditching bids for Jude Bellingham and Enzo Fernandez, as the club continues to seek a midfielder.

Liverpool are looking for a new midfielder after a turbulent transfer window. After having so much trouble with the current pack this season, the need for a central player is critical.

Jurgen Klopp continues to press the club to sign a new midfielder, but the available options are limited. Liverpool did appear to be interested in Enzo Fernandez until it became clear that Benfica would only consider a bid worth his €120 million release clause.

Similarly, they may have dropped out of contention for top target Jude Bellingham. However, with Manchester City now in the race, the Borussia Dortmund star is likely to join Pep Guardiola’s team or Real Madrid, who may have taken the lead in race to secure his signature.

As a result, Valencia’s Yunus Musah is reportedly being considered as a replacement. The former Arsenal youth is also a target for his former club, and Chelsea is reportedly monitoring his situation.

Musah is coming off a fantastic World Cup performance. His performances for the USMNT have piqued the interest of Premier League clubs, and Valencia is bracing for offers for the 20-year-old.

If Liverpool is serious, they must be wary of Arsenal and Chelsea’s interest. However, if the Gunners pursue the midfielder, they will definitely be clear favourites.

Chelsea may also re-enter the market following the failure of their pursuit of Enzo Fernandez. They have also demonstrated a penchant for spending big which may be the case with Musah.

However, like Liverpool, their midfielders have underperformed in what has been a disappointing season overall.

Musah is under contract until 2026, and he has a large release clause. His current market value is around €25 million, but Valencia could demand much more if more than one club enters the race.

The amount the club would demand is unknown, but it could be within Premier League clubs’ budgets.
