The Lakers are once again exploring the possibility of acquiring Indiana Pacers shooting guard Buddy Hield.
Los Angeles Lakers expressed interest in Hield during the 2021 offseason, but ultimately decided to trade Russell Westbrook from Washington Wizards.
Hield became an Indiana player in February in a major trade with Sacramento Kings. The Indianapolis club is rebuilding its roster and may part with the 29-year-old for the Lakers’ picks.
In 26 games for the Pacers, Buddy averaged 18.2 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game.
