Point guard Kyrie Irving has no concerns about spending next season with Brooklyn.
According to SNY reporter Ian Begley, quoting a source close to the player, Irving is happy with his position with the Nets ahead of the 22/23 season and is comfortable with the new roster.
Earlier in July, the Lakers and Nets had seriously discussed a trade involving Irving, but as of now, talks have ended. Kyrie reportedly either lost his desire to move to the California club or didn’t have it, to begin with.
In late June, Irving used an option in his current agreement and extended his contract with Brooklyn for one season ($36.9 million).
