Former Formula One driver Daniil Kvyat will run his first race in NASCAR next weekend.
Kvyat announced that he will drive the #26 Toyota (Daniel raced under this number in F1) for Team Hezeberg. The race will take place on July 31 on the Indianapolis road configuration.
I’ve always loved NASCAR racing, it’s the highest level of motorsport in the United States. I can’t wait to succeed, I hope to fight for wins and titles in the future, said Kvyat.
