Tsimikas on Luis Diaz: “Thankfully, he’s very strong mentally and physically. I wish him a speedy recovery and every one of us will be there for him along the way. We’ll be waiting for him.

“Darwin is such a talented guy. That was clear to all of us when we played Benfica last season. We were very happy when he joined us.”

Tsimikas: “All players need some time to adapt to a new system and game plan. Even more so for Darwin as he doesn’t speak English, but I’m not worried about him at all. He’s going to be a goal machine for us. He’s getting better and better.”

Tsimikas:”Being part of this team is like feeling part of a big family. We want to be all together. Everyone helps each other. I don’t believe there’s any team in the world right now that has team spirit like we have.”

Tsimikas:”I like spending time with Harvey. His dad Scott is an unbelievable guy and that’s why Harvey is like he is – he’s got a great family behind him. In Dubai we went shopping and for coffees during our free time.”

Tsimikas on Mo Salah: “Mo has come to Greece a few times and I’ve met him there. We enjoy each other’s company. He’s one of the best people I’ve ever met in football.”
