Following Sunday’s incredible game at Anfield, Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp had high praise for Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, who prevented the Reds from securing a win.
Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp offered effusive praise for Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale following the two teams’ thrilling draw at Anfield on Sunday.
In a post-match interview with Sky Sports, Klopp lauded Ramsdale’s exceptional display, which included two remarkable saves during the latter stages of the game that prevented Liverpool from securing a victory.
Speaking specifically about one save Ramsdale made against Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, Klopp stated, “That one save, I think especially from Mo, that was exceptional. I think if Ibou [Konate] uses his head, then the ball goes under the crossbar, so it’s a goal because [Ramsdale] cannot be there. But yes, he was exceptional.”
Liverpool will now travel to Elland Road to take on Leeds as they look to revive what’s left of their season.
