The Citizens took a step closer to defending the Premier League title this season after celebrating an impressive victory over Arsenal on Wednesday evening.

De Bruyne delivered a man-of-the-match performance versus the opponents by scoring a brace for his team. John Stones and record-breaker Erling Haaland joined him on the scoresheet to secure three crucial points from the meeting.

As a result, City have two games in hand and are now just two points behind the leaders Arsenal, which could see them overtake the rivals and claim the top spot in the league table.

After the successful evening, De Bruyne took to Twitter to express his excitement, writing: “No words needed!”
