Kevin de Bruyne has taken to social media to react to his Ballon d’Or ranking and send a message to Karim Benzema.
The Ballon d’Or 2022 ceremony took place yesterday, October 17 in Paris, France at Théâtre du Châtelet.
Karim Benzema was crowned the winner for the first time in his career, while Sadio Mane finished second and Kevin De Bruyne was third.
Following the ceremony, De Bruyne took to Instagram to react to his ranking and send a message to Benzema.
He wrote: “Had a great evening with my family. Very honoured to end up 3rd! Big congratulations to @karimbenzema.”
