Former NBA player and current ESPN expert Kendrick Perkins responded to multiple outbursts from Warriors forward Draymond Green.
Green recently claimed that the 2008 league champion with the Celtics had “turned into a cutthroat”.
Draymond, are you OK? What’s wrong with you? Didn’t you just win your fourth title? What the fuck are you so worried about me. What are you mad about? You don’t like the fact that I’ve chosen my way of working and it’s paying off? I work the way I see fit, I don’t have to adjust to you.
You can discuss me as an ESPN expert, share your impressions, can talk about anything you want. I don’t care. But what you shouldn’t do is disrespect me and call me a fucking cutthroat. I insist on it.
That’s what I won’t be and it certainly won’t be because of you, because we all know you won’t do anything. We know you won’t pick a fight, so no need for all this cutthroat nonsense. We can continue to entertain the public, continue to create content for ESPN, but no more cutthroat talk, dawg, Perkins wrote.
Perkins later deleted the post “out of respect for ESPN and colleagues,” but noted that he is not abandoning his position.
