Kalvin Phillips has sent a message to Pep Guardiola over his playing time at Manchester City.
Kalvin Phillips joined City during the summer transfer window 2022 from Leeds United. Phillips has been struggling with a playing time at the Premier League champion’s side and so far he has played only 167 minutes for the club.
Recently he has been linked with a move away from Guardiola’s side as Arsenal, Everton and Liverpool have been credited with an interest on the player.
The 27-year-old’s contract with the club expires in 2028.
Speaking to Channel 4 Sport, Phillips said: “As a football player, you always want to be playing… and so that’s the case with me.
“I want minutes and obviously I haven’t done that over the last year and a half, so that’s one thing I want to do.
“Let’s see what happens”.
