Jurgen Klopp believes Tottenham are “exceptional” despite the hardships the Spurs are facing this term.
The North Londoners played a 2 – 2 draw with Manchester United in the Premier League on Thursday evening. They will be even more motivated to have a favorable result when they face the Reds on Sunday.
Both teams are now in the run for a potential top-four finish, and despite the latest draw, Klopp expects a hard test versus Ryan Mason’s team.
“The team they have is still exceptional,” the German manager said in the pre-Tottenham press conference, via Liverpool Echo.
“They were for years the best counter-attacking team in Europe. I expect them to be really good,” he added.
