Jurgen Klopp has revealed how the Reds will cope without Salah as he joins Egypt for AFCON.
The 2023 AFCON begins on January 13 and will conclude on February 14 of 2024 in Ivory Coast.
Mohamed Salah will miss up to eight Liverpool games due to the tournament.
Before heading to join up with his national team, Salah had an incredible display in the Reds 4-2 win over Newcastle on January 2nd.
He formed a double against the Magpies and provided one assist.
Liverpool prepare to face Arsenal in the FA Cup 3rd round clash on Sunday, January 7, 2024.
Speaking ahead of the game, Klopp said on Salah: “Not a lot. I think we played against West Ham with Harvey there and we have different defensive options. Other players can play on the wing but maybe not like Mo, it’s not possible.
“We use the boys and their skills and that is the idea behind it. Do we want to play without Mo? No. But we will find a way but of course we play Arsenal and we can lose with Mo Salah but at the moment we have a chance to win the game, so we think about that.”
