Jurgen Klopp has provided an injury update on Naby Keita following Liverpool’s defeat to Manchester United on Monday, August 22.
The Reds suffered a 2-1 defeat to the Red Devils as Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford scored for United, meanwhile, Mohamed Salah scored for Klopp’s side.
Keita has yet to make an appearance for the Reds in the Premier League as he is out with an injury.
Following the game, in a press conference, Klopp said: “We need further assessment, but it doesn’t look like that tomorrow he is in training. But we need further assessment. It’s just Sunday, yesterday, and then whether we know more tomorrow, I don’t know.”
