Jurgen Klopp has provided an injury update on Darwin Nunez ahead of Liverpool’s game with Wolves.
The Reds played a 2 – 2 draw with Wolves in the FA Cup third round and are going to face the team again on Tuesday for a replay.
Nunez missed the club’s training sessions following his impressive performance against FA Cup rivals last week.
Klopp has now confirmed that the Uruguayan is close to returning to action after a fitness issue, though he is still doubtful for the midweek’s meeting.
“Darwin is very close but it’s Monday and tomorrow is the game. Milner and Bajcetic trained fully. That’s it,” the manager said in the pre-match conference.
