Sports news editor Daniel Cutts has provided an update on Arsenal’s pursuit of Mykhailo Mudryk.
Gunners have been heavily linked with the move for the Ukraine international and are in active negotiations with Shakhtar Donetsk over a possible transfer.
According to Cutts, Mikel Arteta’s side have improved their bid for a second time in order to seal the deal. Gunners now offer £62m for the player’s services.
Arsenal are now confident to secure Mudryk’s move. The attacker is also eager to join the Premier League giants.
