Sports journalist Nizaar Kinsella has provided latest update on Mason Mount’s situation at Chelsea.
The Blues star’s current deal expires in the summer of 2024, and he is yet to sign a new contract with the club.
According to Kinsella, both sides have now decided to put the contract talks on hold until after the World Cup 2022.
The journalist claims that Chelsea owner Tedd Boehly is personally leading the talks on extending Mount’s stay at Stamford Bridge.
