Journalist Martin Blackburn has provided an injury update on Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
Phillips was out of action as he suffered a dislocated shoulder during Manchester City’s mid-season friendly match with Barcelona.
His fitness issues rose the doubts over the possible availability for the World Cup 2022 with England national team.
According to Blackburn, Phillips has undergone a “successful” surgery on his shoulder last week.
The City sources say it went to plan, however, the player’s return date is still unclear.
