Josko Gvardiol faced his former side RB Leipzig when they hosted Manchester City in the Champions League group stage game on Wednesday.
City celebrated a 3-1 win and are currently leading Group G with 6 points.
Gvardiol took to Instagram to send a message following the win.
He wrote: “🔴 I was proud to be a young bull at @rbleipzig and it was a privilege to wear your colors. To my former club, teammates, and fans: Dankeschön!
“Now, my heart beats sky blue, and I am a loyal @mancity warrior, ready with honor to give my all for the triumph of the Citizens.”
