How AS Roma could line up in the 2022/23 season
Georginio Wijnaldum is set to join AS Roma from PSG on loan with the option to buy for €8 million, which will become an obligation if he plays 50% of the matches and Giallorossi will participate in UEFA Champions League 2023/24.
The Dutch player has arrived in Rome to undergo medical tests in his 3-year contract deal with Rome valid until June 2025.
Gini Wijnaldum is set to become Jose Mourinho’s fourth signing of the summer, after Nemanja Matic, Zeki Celik and Paulo Dybala.
AS Roma will kick off the season with a Sunday evening clash against Salernitana, on August 14 set for 20:45.
