Jordan Henderson has sent a warning message to his Liverpool team ahead of the club’s game with Newcastle United.
The Reds celebrated a 2 – 0 victory over Everton in the Premier League at the weekend. Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo scored to give their side the lead over the opponents.
As a result, Liverpool are now sitting in ninth place in the domestic top tier. Their next rivals will be fourth placed Newcastle.
Ahead of the game, Henderson has warned his team that they are going to have a hard test versus Eddie Howe’s Magpies.
“The next game is a big test. Newcastle are flying this season. I think they are unbeaten in 11, something like that,” the midfielder said.
“So it’s really, really tough place to go and play but if we can perform like we did and more than you never know what can happen.”
