In their last league game before the international break, Villa celebrated a 2-1 victory over Brighton as Danny Ings formed a double, while Alexis Mac Allister scored for the Seagulls.
Following the game, McGinn took to Twitter to send a message: “A tough couple of months but a huge 3 points going into the break.”
