Chelsea’s loan signing Joao Felix has humorously mentioned that his struggles in learning English are due to his teammate Kai Havertz being his teacher.
Felix has enjoyed positive relationships off the field, including his teammate Havertz, who has been teaching him the native language.
In a lighthearted comment to The Residency, the attacker opened up on his language difficulties, saying: “Kai Havertz! That’s why I am bad on it.”
The on-pitch situation appears to be a little bit different. The Portuguese international’s recent performances have divided opinions among the Blues’ supporters as he has contributed just three goals during his loan spell.
This has led to uncertainties about his permanent future at Stamford Bridge, especially if it means losing a player like Mason Mount. The latter is likely to depart this summer as a new contract agreement seems unlikely.
