On Sunday night, May 15, a boxing evening took place at the Dignity Health Sports Park arena in Los Angeles, the main event of which was the rematch of the WBA, WBC, and IBF junior middleweight belt holder Jermell Charlo (35-1-1, 19 K.O.) and WBO champion Brian Castaño (17-1-2, 12 K.O.).

Charlo managed to stop his opponent in the tenth round. The American sent Castaño to the floor of the ring with a left counter hook, the Argentine fighter got up, but almost immediately found himself on the canvas again, after which the referee decided to stop the fight.

Thus, Jermell Charlo became the undisputed junior middleweight champion, adding the WBO belt to his WBA, WBC, and IBF titles.
