Jamie Carragher has raved about Jordan Henderson following the Liverpool star’s latest display for England national team.
The Reds captain is currently on international duty with the Three Lions at World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
Gareth Southgate’s side celebrated a 3 – 0 win over Senegal in the Round of 16 of the major tournament. Henderson scored one of the winning goals to help his side secure spot in the quarter-finals.
After the game, Carragher has hit back to the critics who questioned the Liverpool midfielder’s abilities.
“Brilliant Jordan Henderson! So often questioned, but always answers in the right way,” Carragher wrote on Twitter when speaking about Henderson.
