James Milner has reacted to Roberto Firmino’s snub from Brazil’s national squad for World Cup.
Firmino was withdrawn from Tete’s squad for the upcoming major football tournament. According to Milner, the attacker was devastated after the news.
The midfielder spoke about his teammate following Liverpool’s 3 – 1 win over Southampton on Saturday.
“He [Firmino] was devastated and understandably so. His last shot at a World Cup,” he said.
“And his club form this season has been very good. Liverpool will benefit from him getting a break.”
