James Maddison had an injury score during Leicester City’s last Premier League game before the World Cup and he has taken to social media to give update.
The Foxes celebrated a 2-0 victory over West Ham on Saturday as Maddison and Harvey Barnes scored.
The 25-year-old was substituted in the game due to an apparent injury. The injury scare came after Maddison was selected in Gareth Southgate’s World Cup squad on Thursday.
However, the Foxes star has taken to Twitter to send a message and give an update on his injury.
“Another win & another goal. Perfect way to finish before the break,” wrote Maddison.
“Injury isn’t too bad! A small problem that was causing a bit of soreness. Can’t wait to meet up with the lads Monday.”
World Cup kicks off on November 20. The Three Lions will begin their Qatar 2022 campaign with a game against Iran on November 21. They are in the same group as USA and Wales.
