Manchester City star Jack Grealish has named Phil Foden as the most skillful player at the club.
In a Q&A session with the Daily Mail, The Citizens’ man was asked about which player at Manchester City had the best skills.
He surprised many by singling out Phil Foden, despite other players such as Riyad Mahrez or Bernardo Silva.
Grealish had previously praised Foden’s skills, comparing him to Lionel Messi. This was after his incredible assist in City’s 3-0 victory against Peterborough in the FA Cup last season when he was still playing for Aston Villa.
“[The assist was] Just like Messi! Me and Phil have that link up”, the attacker said, as quoted by the club’s official website.
