The owners of Inter, the Chinese company Suning Group, have decided to change the name of the club, as reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The full name of Inter is Football Club Internazionale Milano, but it will soon be renamed to Inter Milano.
This changes will be done due to the desire of the owners to use the brand name recognizable abroad for marketing purposes.
Also the logo of the club, created in 1908, is due to be changed. It will be modernized under the new name of Nerazzurri.
It is reported that the rebranding will officially take place on March 9, when Inter will celebrate the 113th anniversary of the club.
In addition, it is planned to change the title sponsor of the club. It is expected that the Chinese company Evergrande will replace the Italian Pirelli.
