Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed that he saw no ‘evolution’ at Manchester United following the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson.

Ferguson retired from management after winning the Premier League in 2013 with Man United and that was the last time since Manchester United won the title.

United had been limited to top-four battles and are nowhere near competing for the Champions League, while their rivals are winning top honours.

The Red Devils haven’t won a trophy in the last five years and last season was their worst season in the Premier League when they finished in the 6th position with zero goal difference under two different managers Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick.

“Since Sir Alex left, I saw no evolution in the club,” Ronaldo said. “Nothing had changed. He knows better than anybody that the club is not on the path they deserve to be. He knows. Everyone knows.

“I think the fans should know the truth. I want the best for the club. This is why I come to Manchester United.
