Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has no plans to authorize a transfer for Emile Smith-Rowe this summer, according to sports journalist Dean Jones.
Smith Rowe has recently found his playing time limited at the Emirates Stadium being sidelined by injuries. Furthermore, his name has been linked with other clubs such as Aston Villa.
Despite rumors linking the 22-year-old with a move away from the club, Jones claims the midfielder is expected to remain at the club under Mikel Arteta’s supervision.
“There have been links with Smith Rowe at one point, but Arsenal still have plans for Smith Rowe, Kieran Tierney will go somewhere else, so I can’t really see that,” he said on the Ranks FC podcast.
