Tottenham’s assistant head coach Cristian Stellini has revealed a private phone call he had with Antonio Conte after the London derby.
Tottenham faced Chelsea and celebrated a 2 – 0 win over their opponents on Sunday afternoon. Oliver Skipp and Harry Kane scored to secure three points for their team.
Speaking in the post-match press conference, Stellini confirmed Conte called him “immediately” after the game.
“He was really happy because he has suffered a lot, but now is week Antonio is back so we are happy for the win, we are happy for that and we have to give many compliments to the players because they played a great match,” the assistant coach said, via Football London.
As a result, Spurs are now sitting in 4th place in the Premier League table with 45 points.
