Brighton’s 18-year-old striker Evan Ferguson reportedly doesn’t want to move to Manchester United, Tottenham, or Chelsea despite interest from the Premier League giants.
In the lead up to the summer transfer window, reports have emerged linking Brighton and Hove Albion’s young star Evan Ferguson to several Premier League giants. However, sources suggest that the 18-year-old striker has no desire to leave the Seagulls anytime soon.
According to The Sun, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Chelsea have all expressed interest in acquiring the services of the talented forward. Despite the clubs’ keenness to secure his signature, Ferguson is said to have his heart set on remaining with his current side.
Having already notched up three goals and two assists in just five Premier League appearances this season, Ferguson’s potential is undeniable. He has also impressed in cup competitions, netting three goals in four FA Cup matches and providing one goal and one assist in two Carabao Cup fixtures.
The young striker has started five matches and made five substitute appearances in the English top-flight this campaign, and it appears that Brighton will be relying on him to play a significant role in their future endeavors.
