Casemiro has gradually settled into becoming one of the important players under Erik ten Hag, netting the side’s only goal against Chelsea on Saturday as they shared spoils at Stamford Bridge.
“I always say he’s [Casemiro] our guard dog in the middle,” Antony Santos said of Casemiro. “He’s a no-nonsense guy, a more serious type. I think he’ll leave these goal celebrations to us attacking players!”
