Harry Kane has sent a message following a goalless draw against the USA in World Cup.
Englan international face the USA on the second matchday of World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
None of the teams managed to find the back of the net during the 107 minutes of the match at the Al Bayt Stadium leaving their World Cup fate uncertain.
Fellow Group B rival Iran, meanwhile, celebrated a late 0 – 2 victory over Wales which helped them to jump second in the group table. The Three Lions remain at the top, with USMNT standing in third with two points and the Dragons, with only a point, sit at the bottom of the list.
After the clash, captain Kane took over his Twitter account to encourage his side following the goalless on a Friday night, November 25.
“We know we can be better than we were tonight but a good clean sheet and we’re in a good position in the group.” wrote Kane.
Gareth Southgate’s men will play their final and decisive group-stage match on November 29, against the fellow UK side Wales at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium.
