Two-time Grand Slams champion Simona Halep commented on her entry into the second week of Wimbledon. The Romanian defeated No.92, Magdalena Frech, in 66 minutes (6-4, 6-1).
We had a tough match in Australia. She is a strong opponent, a good player. It’s always not easy with her. She changes the rhythm, she gets things going.
I am satisfied. I try to play in a more attacking style and push myself to do that. So it was a good match.
This tournament has been the best tournament of my career in 2019. I played perfect matches here. Those memories are always with me and I’ve always been confident that I play very well on grass.
