Granit Xhaka has sent a social media message to Arsenal fans following the club’s game with Sporting.
Gunners played a 2 – 2 draw with the Portuguese opponents in the Europa League Round of 16 clashes on Thursday.
William Saliba’s goal was not enough to secure a win, though Mikel Arteta’s team still have the second leg in their hands in hopes of winning the European competition.
After the clash, Xhaka took to Instagram to share his thoughts as he thanked Gooners for their support in Portugal.
“Thanks for coming all the way to Portugal to support us. We’ll give everything to get the job done next week,” the midfielder wrote.
