Chelsea manager Graham Potter has made some comments about Mykhailo Mudryk’s transfer to Stamford Bridge.
Graham Potter has claimed that Chelsea fans will ‘really like’ how Mykhailo Mudryk plays and said he’s looking forward to working with the forward.
The Blues confirmed the 22-year-old forward as their latest signing during their tight 1-0 Premier League win over Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge today.
Mudryk was close to joining Arsenal from Shakhtar Donetsk but Chelsea moved quickly and hijacked the deal from the Gunners and now the Ukranian international is set to continue his playing career with Graham Potter’s side.
When asked about Mudryk, who signed an astonishing eight-and-a-half year contract with Chelsea, Potter said: “You’re never surprised in the transfer window.
“Things happen when you don’t expect them to happen. He’s a player with a big future, one vs one he’s very direct, he attacks the back-line. I think our supporters will really like him.”
