Chelsea manager Graham Potter provides update on Christian Pulisic and Raheem Sterling injuries in Manchester City defeat
Chelsea faced Manchester City in the Premier League on Thursday, January 5 and suffered a 1-0 defeat as Riyad Mahrez scored the only goal of the game.
Sterling was replaced just a few minutes into the game, meanwhile, Pulisic was forced off at the 22nd minute.
Providing an update on the injured duo, Potter told beIN SPORTS: “Raheem felt the back of his leg when he did a backheel, a strange action, a strange sensation, so fingers crossed.”
He then spoke to BBC Match of the Day and added: “It’s too early to say with injuries.
“Raheem felt it with the first minute of the game. And then with Christian we’re hoping it’s not too serious.”
