Graham Potter has opened up on Jorginho, claiming the Italy international has been a “fantastic” player at Chelsea.
The midfielder made a move to Arsenal from Chelsea on transfer deadline day, signing an 18-month contract, with an option for a further year.
Following Jorginho’s transfer to the Emirates Stadium, Potter shared his thoughts on the player.
“In the four months, I worked with him, he was fantastic. He’s a great person. What he did at the club was great,” the manager said, via HITC.
Potter also opened up on the reason behind the midfielder’s transfer, saying:
“But when there are certain situations – with reference to the expiring contract – you need to take that into consideration, to secure something more stable for your family. It’s been a win win win deal.”
